Member Subscriptions 2026-27

The price of the annual member subscriptions for the 2026-27 season is unchanged at £96 for adults and £32 for students.

From this season we have adopted a new ticketing and membership platform called Ticket Tailor which provides us with many benefits over the one we used previously, including reduced booking fees. We are changing the way we manage member subscription by utilising this platform. This will make our administration easier and it will also allow members to self-serve to purchase tickets for their guests.

On this page you will find a section titled "Sheffield Chamber Orchestra Store" that lists four entries for member subscriptions - two for adults and two for students. In each case the two alternatives relate to whether you want to pay for your subscription online using a card (which will incur a small booking fee), or by bank transfer/cash as you have done previously.

  • To pay online: simply click the '+' beside the appropriate "pay now" option (i.e. for Adult or Student), then click "Checkout" and follow the instructions.

  • To pay by BACS or cash: you must still apply for membership on this page. Click the '+' beside the appropriate "pay by BACS or cash", then click "Checkout". Note that the price of the item is listed as 'FREE'. During the checkout process you will not be asked to enter any card details.

In both cases, during the checkout process you will be prompted to enter your contact details and make a Gift Aid declaration. After confirming this page you should see on screen a notice "Finish setting up your memberships". It is important that you complete this final step to confirm your membership. If the membership is for the card holder you can check the box "Use ticket buyer details" then click "Activate" to complete the process.

Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation which will include your membership code. Please retain this code as you will need it to purchase concert tickets for your friends, and to pay your subs if you chose to pay by BACS.

If you elected to pay by bank transfer, once you have completed your membership application, please transfer the correct amount to our bank account using the following details:

  • Name on account: THE SHEFFIELD CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

  • Account number: 67371882

  • Sort code: 08-92-99

  • Reference: use the membership number stated in the email confirmation

Thanks for your co-operation with this new process, and apologies in advance if there are some teething problems along the way.

Download your Music

Please print your own parts which can be accessed by clicking here. You will find a folder for each piece, with each folder containing all parts. In the case of Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, please note that the parts include the whole suite whereas we are only performing the overture. Therefore, you will only need to print the pages that relate to that.

Recent Information from the Conductor

Our guest conductor for our December 5 concert, Gina Hazell, writes:

Dear orchestra members,

Thank you to everyone who was at rehearsals last week. It was great to meet everyone and hear some great playing already. We’ll be covering the second half of the programme next week, and I’m very much looking forward to it!

Gina Hazell
